Well the sound is loud and merciless; yep it could only be rock baby. I make my way back to the stage, but I think I will blame it on the alcohol because in no way would I have stood next to the loudest speaker in Hatfield and thought to myself “Wow these fellas are actually good”. Well it is Isochronous on stage and this was my take:
1 – “Ok Zinzi really digs this band, she even does an intro…ok let’s rock baby. Wait is he the lead singer? I actually spoke to this dude earlier he’s a cool humble fellow, wow he wasn’t even acting all pre-Madonna like…nice, this is the nicest beer I have ever tasted. Wow this is some BLADE ish this is pure freedom I just want to get lost in the joy .The lead vocalist has this teenagey smooth as candy voice, it actually sounds like it was recorded…My eardrums are going crazy, the melody Is glorious – they don’t have soul like TVB but the melody oooh yeah this is nice, need I say the dance floor is packed…black and white pink and blue they are all on stage”
2 – “The pianist adds this daft punk melody to the songs, oh man I don’t know how it feels like to on lsd but I think this must be close – I feel like one of those hippies from Austin Powers – yeah baby..lol..oh my gosh a soul sister Is moving to rock, ayeye the dance floor is packed the crowd is in a climax…ok wait – no…no, could this be?. There is some half naked white dude screaming like a peacock on steroids, oh man this is classic – now this guy is definitely on LSD”
3 – “Oh no the guys are about to end their session, why now? what? we are the oxygen? Yeah that is the song they are going to perform – the majority of the crowds screams in excitement this must be a good song – and so it is the crowd goes made in jubilee …ok I have to say there is a distinct similarity not necessarily in the sound but the effect that TVB and ISO have….it is eternal, it makes us feel united, it is purely good music. Ok, props to Zinzi this is a killa combo, she mentioned she actually wanted this series of gigs to be more at the Townships as so to remove the stigma of race in our music as the youth…now that is visionary and she has a nice video camera too”
After Isochronous left the stage we had a quick break, TVB returned on stage to take us home…by then I had stopped writing as the owner of the pen and paper was about to leave. Oh yeah I do remember distinctly though my new found friend Lerato, myself and the most beautiful dumpie of black label I had ever seen dancing to the rhythmic sounds of TVB. Ok guys, I have shown you a side of me I hope you enjoyed…Those who know me know that I am the most random and sometimes carefree person around, I might have been a little intoxicated but I know good music when I hear it. I will be at the next Iso Travellers Experience come join us, I hope to see you there – if that is not enough ask anybody around and they will tell you that Tick Tock throws the dopest events in town…..so LET US TRAVEL ON…BECAUSE TRAVELLISTS WE ARE!
