What do you want from me?

What is it that you want from me? That is the one question I am always posing to men. I am starting to think that they either find it difficult to answer or are just incapable of answering it. This is truly worrying. I am a 22 year “young” lady who knows exactly want I want from a man but yet I keep finding those who only ‘think’ they know what they want.

When I first met my so called “dream” guy I thought ‘hey jackpot after all the idiots I’ve come across God has answered me!’  It is when we first met that this guy asked me a very simple question “what do I want in a man?” I thought to myself only a person who knows where they are and what they want from life would ask such a simple yet intelligent question. My answer was straight forward (or I figured).  One thing I specified was I don’t want a person who’s still playing games for I was done with such idleness in my life. Ladies it is surprising how a man will pretend he knows what he wants for the first three months of the relationship only to wake up one day to have forgotten all that was said when everything started. The question my “dream” guy posed at the beginning should have made it e easy enough to run while he still has time, but a typical South African man (yes I said it) will stay only to hit you with a boom later.

So far I have not come across a guy who can answer the very simple question “what is it that you want from me?” Guys seem to answer according to what they think we want to hear… or to get into our skirts. Maybe they are clever enough to answer the question for that split minute it’s posed only to realise they’ve chewed more than they can swallow… I am a very outspoken individual like most ladies out there who, as I, are often criticised for knowing what they want. I know what I want and what I don’t want. To all the men out there some of us ladies will not try to pretend or give you an answer to please your ego so we expect the same from you if it is not too much to ask.

Simply put, be man enough to tell us what you really want, if it is just a shag please do say. I will reject you (or hey maybe not) but I could never hate you for being honest about what you really want but rest assured that I will hate you for wasting my time and fooling me. Be man enough to say what you want from me just like I am woman enough to do the same, It may hurt me or maybe not but I will be grateful that you were straight with me.

So what is it that you want from me?
