The NUBIAN CHILDREN’s BOOK CLUB team at eBukhosini Solutions will engage children in inspirational, educational activities, critical thinking, consciousness raising, creative application and interactive co-learning over five days.
OBJECTIVE: The objective is to give Afrikan children a basic introduction to Afrikan history and wisdom – so that they can develop a victorious attitude towards being solution-makers and drivers for a collective and liberated Afrikan future.
CURRICULUM: Lessons, activities and inter-active sessions will focus on Afrikan history, leadership, cultural literacy, songs, artistic expression, confidence, creativity, reflection, articulation – and brief introduction to the Pan-Afrikan language of kiSwahili.
TEACHERS: All learning activities will be coordinated by a competent and experienced group of “walimu” (teachers) who love children, can create a safe environment and will offer attentive care to each child.
OUTCOME: Children will learn to take pride in their heritage through relating to the Afrikan continent, its history and see their role in helping to build a great Afrikan future – together.

Ebukhosini is a home/office/family-place – set up to inspire the Afrikan Family through application of practical Pan-Afrikan/Black Consciousness philosophy and education. The organization has hosted a broad range of Afrikan-centered programs and activities since 2002. The Nubian Children’s Book club is an initiative to encourage Afrikan children to take pride in their roots and aspire to learn as much as possible about Afrika’s great legacies. The long-term objective is to inspire Afrikan children to be grounded leaders of today and tomorrow.
