Black August Festival Tshwane is an annual cultural festival that is hosted in and around the City of Tshwane. The event looks at celebrating, honouring, empowering, restoring and preserving the history of black people for the betterment of black communities. Black August Festival Tshwane’s main objective is to create a future of excellence for the people community.
2016 will be the festivals 2nd year running, promising 2 days of pure fun in celebration of BLACK. The festival is structured that it shares alternative information regarding black people which in any other day wouldn’t be accessible. The information is shared through the Arts, Culture and Academic Scholars who have dedicated themselves to understanding black origins and black existence.
The Black August Festival Tshwane invites and welcomes all to the 2016 Black August Festival Tshwane. Come join us as we celebrate BLACK.
