Thank you, travelists.i appreciate the time you take to read through my work.@Matthew and Tuelo, you are correct in saying that we want more than just bread.we want sweeter stuff too.it is sad that in this country the governing party can arrogantly allow ministers to drive in brand new vehicles in dire economic times and not fear being voted out of office.the lives of working class people arent accentuated in any way except during election times.we always claim to have a mature democracy but i think the greatest test to our democracy will be the day the current governing party is voted out of office.power always resides in the majority and the majority are the working class people right now.as for the media.i was heard Winnie Madikizela Mandela warn the media that they, the anc, gave the media freedom and that they would take it back just like that.It starts with the media, then its new patriot acts and next thing its october 19 1977 again. The majority of the citizenry of the country are largely bothered with trying to get by and have little time to pursue other issues like defending the media.lets see how it goes.

I'm not much of a political person, as a matter of fact im not political at all... but i guess politics affect us all. Firstly, i would like to say that i agree with you on all the points that were raised. Public servants are constantly being spat on, it is clearly evident. Could it be that our fear for the old apartheid white-ruled government is blinding us to the harsh realities that we have to endure on a daily basis... "... Well, their service delivery is not so good, but at least it's a black party and we won't ever have to be undermined by white people..." i've heard most ppl say that... "What!!!! you wanna vote for a white party? you wanna bring apartheid back?" most ppl have shouted at my ear in utter disbelief and dissapointment. but let's face it, our ANC-ruled government has been a grave dissapointment, their only achievement being integration of the white and black people... think about it man, i'm sick and tired of the endless talks of how the government is failing us and yet we keep voting for them... that dazn't make sense. Now they want to control the media. Mxim... This is sickening
