Indeed the history of south africa is written in blood. The ruling party has misled the african children from initial levels of education attempting to brainwash them with this pseudo history, which favors individuals belonging to a particular organization as well as interests of that organisation. The south african history is distorted that children of the soil don't even know of other great leaders who fundamentally paid tremendous contribution in the struggle towards attainment of freedom, the likes of mangaliso sobukwe, steve biko, ongkopotse tiro, sabelo phama, zeph motopeng jst to mention a few, and all their endeavors throughout the struggle. These cadres stood firm until their last breath loyal to their people and umzabalazo, as biko said"it is better to die for an idea that will live than live for an idea that wil die"and all these ought to be acknowledged. it is only through PAN-AFRICANSM that africa could be redeemed!!

Our story of struggle is always laced with unsung heroes who really should be made national heroes ...everytime I think of these the names of Robert Sobukwe and Abram Tiro come to mind. It is thus sad that only members of the ruling party are the ones whose names are sung in the rooftops. I think a major film should be released at least every year chronicling the struggles of these unsung heroes
