Great article. Although it doesn’t matter where home is, being brought up in a certain environment exposes you to life experiences and we respond differently to those experiences guided by what we are taught at respective homes and our support systems. Being brought up in township has taught me life lessons that I don’t think our children are able to learn as much as we want to impart those. The system is just different in the surburbs.

Great read. But if home is defined by all those characteristics, love and family and great food..then everywhere ive been is home. My family is everywhere i go, so is the great food. Love? Love is everywhere. Home.. What really defines home?

to mould a triving township begins with personal development & upliftment of self. Upstanding citizenry lays foundation for A GREAT SOWETO. Lest we forget the initial idea behind. Typical example of littering, if residents dont clean after themselves the end results wud a dirty township. It takes one person to change their immediate surroundings. In the words of Ghandhi : be the change u want to see in the world. In this case in your township
