Its all a mirage. The one thing that we as Africans have to realise is that for us to get to our economic Zion, its going to take a lot of hard word, discipline and sacrifice. Talk is cheap, and from weekend reports, Julius is the master of that, but I have one question for all of you. Other than lofty speeches, what single job has Julius created on the way to his R100 million odd fortune. What new innovation has he come up with, that actually produces something and creates jobs? Anyone who thinks economic liberation will come from BEE and other systems of paper kiting are in for a shock. Let us look at the South Koreans, the Chinese and other Asians who have built their countries from the bottom up, brick, by painful brick.

Thought provoking,Keitu. The importance of fully fledged economic participation of Africans cant be overstated.I,however, find it odd that a lot of people have been quick to credit the ANCYL,particularly its president, for the economic cause of African especially when the likes of Andile Mngxitama and Dr Mosibudi Mangena amongst others who have long made that call. The greatest thing that we ought to realize is that strength and progress lies in our numbers.we cant negate the influence of political will in creating favourable conditions to improve the african economic cause.
