Music Producer & Artist Mensahighlife comes from a lineage of serious musicians. His father Chief Mensah started off as a cultural and traditional percussionist that later ventured into Highlife and Jazz, Some of the same sounds that flows through this young artists productions and sounds as a highly regarded Keyboardist.
Affiliated with Nshona Muzicks Banku Nation, Mensahighlife is now re-introducing you to an even more potent and musical sound mixing funky Afrobeats with soulful chord-progressions and telling tales through song and rap. His upcoming single “It’s Cold Oo” is a testament on the state of the nation for many, but also a cheeky irony of the perception that “Uptown” has on Mama Africa with a Highlife/Hiplife backbeat. His Afrobeat EP titled simply “MENSAHIGHLIFE” will be released in 2016.
