Meropa is a cult figure on the Joburg art scene and has been an active performer across the city for several years. His blend of the singer/ songwriter genre with traditional African idioms , music styles and themes over with social conscious hip hop ethos. The result has been welcomed by people of all ages across the Gauteng province and has seen him sharer the stages with countless celebrities of various shapes and sizes.

Muziwakhe “MEROPA” Mabizela has been an active musician for more than ten years. He is a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist and an author. He was born and bread in South Africa Soweto, lived with both perants and two older brother’s who all past away in the past four years, with all the challengies, he never gave up his dreams. In 2004 he was called by Bonginkosi “ZOLA” Dlamini a kwaito star for a collaboration of a song called Uz’ubuye ( until you come back) which was wel recieved by the masses, the song also won few awards in South Africa and abroad. He worked with prophet jd and Palesa Mokoena in a theatrical production called “Black Reflection” that went to Grehamstown, the show was featured in deferent news papers and radio stations. He went to study music at Central Johannesburg Collge.
