Out There Sessions hosted by Myesha Jenkins are back for their final installment for 2017! For our final edition, we have invited Modise Sekgothe and Phillippa Yaa.
For the past several months, Myesha has experienced severe abdominal pain, weight loss and a sense of depleting energy. On Tuesday after two procedures she was finally diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the pancreas.
So Myesha is going to have an operation to remove the tumour, as soon as possible.
Myesha has always made sure she has health insurance. In terms of the law they have to pay her medical costs if it’s cancer. Nevertheless a hospital plan will not cover rehabilitation from a major surgery and she will need financial support over the next few months as she recovers and is able to work again.
