Born in a township (Mamelodi), Xitha is a South African, Pretoria based writer, poet, performer and social activist who also experiments with paint and videography. His passion for writing saw him establish a strong presence in the poetry/art scene in Pretoria. This brought opportunities to share his work on the same stages with artists such as Poet Laureate Prof. Keorapetse Kgositsile, Mr Lefifi Tladi, Ian Kamau, Myesha Jenkins, Natalia Molebatsi and Hymphatic Thabs.
In 2012 Xitha wrote and produced his first theatre play titled Bits and Pieces, he has released 2 E.P’s and has poems published in magazines and news papers.

He recently got second place of the Speak Out Loud poetry competition hosted by the City Of Tshwane (Pretoria) and he’s working on finishing his first collection of poems and verses titled Bits and Pieces, which are the same poems as in the play, to be published in the near future.
