In many instances we often ask ourselves whether there is really a Heaven or Hell.
We ask ourselves whether there is really a God or the Devil. I believe in life after death. I believe in God and that the devil is out there to kill, steal and destroy. Now, the question I always ask myself is, how will I live my life after I had crossed-over and which I believe is going to be eternal life. I always find myself reading a book that I call “The book of Life” and you may call it the Bible, this book always answers my questions and I believe it can answer all the questions we have in life. It provides for, a perfect guide to an unquestionable way of life. It is the only book I believe was inspired by God so that through it, we may know more of Him seek Him and live for Him. The Book of Revelations reveals unto us what God would love for us to know:
Rev 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve manners of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Suppose you die today. Have you really thought of what really goes on, on the ‘other side’? Well, I have frequently wondered. I want you to look at these two dead men, one dies and goes to Heaven and the other dies and goes straight to Hell. A reciprocal of the scenario can be of reality also on the living; meaning you can choose to live life in Hell here on earth or you can enjoy your heaven here on earth depending on how you lead your life. Like the prayer goes: “Let your will be done on Earth as it is done in Heaven”:
Heaven: Welcome weary traveler to this a place of rest
Put your tired feet up; lift the troubles off thy chest
The journey was hard and tiresome
We celebrate now that you have come
We shall nourish you with all that is good
It is now as it always could have ever should
Show a smile, you shall never be depressed
Share the joy of getting whatever you request
Rest your tired body; try on your brand new robes
Gold for your fingers and diamonds for your earlobes
This is our garden where all pure pleasures are grown
Those you have tasted and some you never known
Green-grass beneath your feet, dancing among your friends
The fruit of life within your reach, the dance that never ends
Eat all the fruit you see except for the forbidden tree
Come, make yourself at home and WELCOME TO ETERNITY
Hell : Welcome weary traveler to this a place of unrest
Lift the heavy rock and let us place it on your chest
The mountains were steep and hence they made you tire
Come in and settle down, keep warm within the fire
Alas you came a little late we have no food to spare
Do not look so troubled and please do not despair
An endless supply of maggots here, enough for you to share
Do not heed the screaming, worry not about who mourns
Sit down, remove thy sandals; lay upon your bed of thorns
Speak to no one that you meet; in here you have no friends
Broken glass beneath your feet; the dance that never ends
This is the desert that we call home stretching from here to infinity
No water to quench your aching thirst and no rivers in this vicinity
Let he who bears the broken wings speak truth of your paternity
Please come in, make yourself at home and WELCOME TO ETERNITY
