“And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they said unto Him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting Him that they might have to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though He heard them not. So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the women, He said unto her, Woman, where are your accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” (John 8:3-11)

In this book of John we see Jesus demonstrating His compassion. This woman was caught in Adultery, this woman was a prostitute. Now, in the laws of Moses, when you are caught in such an Act you deserved to die (stoned). Jesus said unto them; “If you believe you have not sinned, cast the first stone.” It’s like I can see each one of them doing an own introspection at the lives they lead and condemned themselves; for immediately they loosed the stones and left. She was left with Jesus alone. I’m sure in her mind; she did not know what Jesus was thinking. All her accusers vanished and now it was Jesus and the lady. You see, there is a time where you need to move people away and it must be you and Him only that must remain; there is a time where you have to forget every person you know when you face Him face to face. And Jesus looked at her; “where are your accusers now (Glory)?” I can imagine that love, the compassion, the mercy and the grace in His heart. He looked at her and she said; “They’ve all gone.” And he said “Who condemns you now?” and the lady said “no one;” And Jesus said “I do not condemn you either, go home and sin no more.”

You may be a believer or a non believer but you know yourself, you know where u messing up in your life. The book of Isaiah 53:6 says; “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the sins of us all.” You may be in any congregation or spiritual group but there is always that something that will take you astray. You love the Lord with all your heart but you keep falling in the same trap over and over again. Beloved, that is His mercy and grace that keeps you on your feet every time you fall. You see, when Jesus was captured to be crucified; the devil thought he really got Jesus and defeated Him. And that was because the devil had no clue that it things had gone according to plan that Jesus had to die so the devil can lose the power he has on people. Sometimes blood has to spill for people to change their ways. The blood of Jesus is the only reason why mercy and grace is extended unto humans. Sometimes people wait until their friend is dead and they will look up to God and say “He is God.” It is because of the blood of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary that His mercies are new every morning.

Ephesians 2:8 & 9 say “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God – not because of works we have done, lest any man should boast.” God has always had a soft spot on us humans and that is why we are still in existence all these millions of years wherein a lot of other species just vanished. God is a God of His word. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us. I therefore urge you brethren, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – which is your spiritual worship. (Romans 12:1)

Beloved, I don’t care what you’ve been doing, but the mercy of Jesus Christ is able to pull you up from the dungeon of sin, from the pit of sin. He can just pick you up. It don’t matter what you have done. He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us from our sins. Beloved, all you have to do is stretch out your hand and say “Jesus, I avail myself to you, forgive me for all the things I have done, I believe in you, I believe that you died and rose again on that third day.” Continue and say “Lord Jesus, come into my heart. I renounce the works of the devil and sin.” Now, if you have said those words from deep within your heart believing in Him, His compassion, mercy and love, then you are made whole again. You are saved. There is no more condemnation. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all sins. You are now a new creation, the old things have passed, behold new things to come. His mercy is able to save you beloved.

Be blessed
